I expect to release my first training video in June. "Lesson One: Creative Animal Painting Techniques for Photoshop," will be the first installment in my "Mastering the Digital Canvas" training series. It will include over six hours of video instruction on smudge technique.
I'll post more information when it's available.

YES! Good news! I have been waiting a long time. Looking forward to it. Also good timing because I think the new Photoshop CS5 has a whole new host of tools specifically for this style of painting. You may want to look into that if you haven't already.
